The open application period for the 2020 Norton Sound, Yukon River, Kuskokwim River, Chignik and Southeast Alaska salmon fisheries and 2021 Yukon River salmon fishery (Statewide salmon) disaster has begun as of June 28th, 2024. The application period will close on August 24th for permit holders and processors, and September 28th for vessel crew and subsistence users. Crew and subsistence users can access applications and view information regarding these disaster distributions on the Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission website here:
Permit holder applications were mailed on June 25th, if you believe you are an eligible permit holder and do not receive an application in the mail by July 15th please email AKFishDisaster@psmfc.org
