ACRs are submitted by the public\, advisory committees\, and agencies for proposals on regulatory areas and species not set for deliberation in the current meeting cycle. \nAt its October 20-21\, 2021 Work Session in Anchorage at the Egan Convention Center\, 555 West 5th\nAvenue\, the board will review ACRs for possible scheduling in the 2021/2022 meeting cycle. In order\nfor the board to approve and schedule an ACR for later in the meeting cycle\, the ACR must meet one of the following criteria as established in 5 AAC 39.999. \n• For a fishery conservation purpose or reason.\n• To correct an error in a regulation.\n• To correct an effect on a fishery that was unforeseen when a regulation was adopted. \nACRs are due to Boards Support Section by August 23\, 2021 at the Boards Support Section office in Juneau. DESCRIPTION:The annual Denakkanaaga Elders and Youth Conference will take place on June 8 and 9\, 2021\non a virtual basis for those wishing to participate on a remote basis\, and in-person for delegates\nonly at the David Salmon Tribal Hall in Fairbanks. The Denakkanaaga Annual Meeting will\nimmediately follow the conference on June 10\, 2021. \nThe conference theme is “Becoming Resilient and Speaking Out: On the Journey to Wellness.”\nThis reflects the ongoing discussion Denakkanaaga has had at its recent conferences on healing\nfrom generational trauma. This summer’s conference will focus on men’s healing\, as well as\nother important issues facing elders and youth. \nThis year two elders will be elected to the Denakkanaaga Board of Directors for the Yukon-\nTanana and Kuskokwim subregions\, both for three-year terms.
